Here at "The Kindaichi Project", we can only humbly offer you a taste of Kindaichi through our scanlations. However, if it's the Kindaichi anime series you're looking for, you're in luck! The staff of Kindaichi Academy Works have been working long and hard on their Kindaichi fansubs, so we highly recommend that you visit their site as well!


SCANLATIONS

These scanlations only account for the untranslated and unreleased Kindaichi cases. As the cases can be read out of order with no real detrimental effect on any storyline, we will translate as we gain access to certain cases. We highly encourage you to buy the official releases by TokyoPop to help bolster sales and possibly garner us more official Kindaichi manga releases. Please read the disclaimer section before downloading.

A Note About Our Scanlations: We in no way claim to be professional translators. We are simply fans looking to expand the fanbase of one of our favourite manga series that is only partially available in English. Because simple summaries cannot accurately convey the brilliance of this series, this is our offering to you to help convince you that this series is worth owning in manga form. Half of the fun in Kindaichi is "rewinding" to look for clues and events that Kindaichi refers to before and during his reveals. This is not easy to do in scanlation form! So please, check out our Where to Buy page!

Another Note of Importance: We translate some of these cases from Chinese manga and do not have an extensive amount of knowledge of the Japanese language, culture, or history. As such, we may overlook some important subtleties of the clues and mysteries and names may be mis-translated. Again, more reason to purchase and support official English releases of the series!
